Ryan's Reticulation has been in the irrigation industry for more than a decade – providing reticulation repairs, servicing, maintenance, new reticulation installations along with lawn & retic packages.
This week we were completing a reticulation service in Hillarys for Scott, who initially contacted us regarding a replacement controller for his old 469. Upon arrival we noticed the old controller wasn't functional, and none of the settings or programming were operational.
We replaced the old controller unit with a Rainbird ESP-TM2 6 station with a 3 year warranty. The Rainbird controller units are second to none in the irrigation industry due to their reliability, durability & ease of use for the homeowner.
Upon testing the system, we noticed two large leaks that required attention. The first leak was after the solenoid valve for the back lawn, and was a relatively easy to repair utilising a 25mm slip fix & coupling, however the second leak was right beneath a large pine tree. The tree roots had cracked the pipework, so we diverted the mainline away from the area in question – easier said than done!
Once the PVC Cement was set, we tested the system & Scott was delighted to have his retic back up & running again at full capacity.
