Late last week, we were completing a lawn & retic installation in Banksia Grove for some of our good friends – Martin & Tash.
Martin & Tash have been biding their time, waiting for their new home to be completed – it was a long & gruelling 2 years but they finally got to move in.
Martin & I had been in talks about reticulation design & installation, along with what type of lawn he would like. The home is a stunning dark red brick, so we decided a dark, lush emerald green lawn such as Sir Walter buffalo would be the best pick.
For the reticulation, we decided on 3 separate zones, running off a Rainbird ESP-TM2 4 station controller unit. Station 1 consisted of a handful of Toro 570 series pop up sprinklers for the front lawn, whilst station 2 serviced the front gardens, station 3 serviced the back gardens running a variety of both solid 300mm risers with umbrella caps & micro jet sprayers for the smaller thin garden beds.
