This week we were completing an installation in Bindoon for Sam, who had built a new residence on his 65 acre property – this system was a complex one that required a 2'' Rural Co mainline, converted to 40mm PVC running a HS60 Torrium Davey Pressure Pump, Arkal Disc Filter assembly & a Rainbird ESP TM2 Wi-Fi compatible controller unit. The systems water source was supplied from a 36,000 L water tank 85 meters away, with a submersible bore pump to feed the tank.
After the pump & filter assembly, we installed a 40mm Irritrol BSP master valve for added security, along with 10 Irritrol 25mm BSP station solenoid valves for different areas throughout Sam's property.
For the lawn areas we required 2 stations, running Hunter PGJ gear drive rotators, with the remainder of the 8 stations for garden areas, water troughs and a small orchid consisting of around 14 fruit trees.
This particular installation was one of our largest in the area, but Sam was delighted with the finished product, and his new home and garden had a complete irrigation system to last a lifetime!
