Last week we were completing a lawn & reticulation installation in Burns Beach as a landscaping package for 'Sista's Café'.
This well renowned and popular café in Perth's northern suburbs was in need of a facelift prior to summer, and they choose the best in the business for their new landscaping package. Dion, the café owner, wanted the reticulation to be overhauled and new turf to be laid for customers to sit on in the warmer months.

For Sista's Café, we started with the earthworks and the old lawn removal, taking out a whopping 8 cubic meters of soil and debris in preparation for the new soil. We checked over the existing reticulation pipes and fittings, and decided to replace with all new 25mm class 9 pipe running gear drive PGJ pop up sprinklers.
We then installed premium soil conditioner, along with dynamic lifter and chicken manure for optimum growth and strike rates. Screeding, levelling and compacting the soil is the most time consuming part of installing a new lawn, however it is impeccable that it's perfect prior to laying the lawn.
We installed Kikuyu roll on lawn for the café, this hard wearing turf is durable and perfect for high traffic areas, along with the added benefit of staying green nearly all year round. This variety of turf is used on council parks and sporting ovals exactly for these reasons.
