Earlier this week we were completing a reticulation service in Tapping for Deborah.
Deborah was receiving larger than usual water bills, in excess of $850 a quarter. We diagnosed the fault, a significant leak present at her master valve and mains water cut in.
Working alongside AJ's plumbing & gas, we had the mains water copper line repaired, along with a new Irritrol master valve and required fittings. We also noticed the controller unit was unresponsive and Deb did say it had been very temperamental, we removed the old retic controller and installed a Rainbird ESP-TM2 6 station irrigation controller.
The system was back up and running in no time, and with a minor service and check over for any more leaks present – the job was nearly complete. Deb also wanted us to install a separate tap timer purely for her vegetable gardens along with some 19mm poly and bubblers. We installed the Rainbird digital tap timer PRO, and set it for her watering days to give the vegetables adequate water through these hot summer days.
