This week we were completing some reticulation repairs in Butler for Janette, along with a small extension. Janette was investing in some outdoor renovations including having a new lawn installed and some reticulation repairs and modifications.
As she had decided to install the new lawn herself with her husband, we were predominately there to help with her irrigation needs. Included in our scope of works was installing a new Rainbird TM2 reticulation controller, a handful of new station solenoids, a new master valve and running all the required pipework to suit.
After we had installed the new Rainbird irrigation controller with Wi-Fi compatibility, Jett and I moved onto replacing the master solenoid with a 25mm BSP Irritrol high flow valve, along with another 3 station solenoids.
Along with the new valves and controller unit, I recommended to Janette we replace all the cable to the valves, ensuring there was no room for error and she would have a near new irrigation system that will last for years to come.
For the new lawn area we installed roughly 16 Toro 570 series pop up sprinklers, along with running 15m of 19mm poly pipe and micro sprays for a small garden bed to be planted out.
Janette was delighted with the finished product and spent the following days installing her new lawn.
